The Traditional Cottage rooms are smaller rooms that can accommodate just 2 adults, no children or any additional person in the room. The reason for the same is, these traditional cottage rooms are part of traditional "Illams" or "Mana" - Kerala Mansions. The rooms in these Keralan Mansions were very small in size just to accommodate 2 adults. In those olden days, it was joint families and since more numbers of rooms we required, the room sizes we relatively small. So these partially wooded structures are small in size just to accommodate 2 adults in a double bed. The bathroom is relatively large in size and has a common balcony where you could spend some quality time in the evening. One independent cottage has two separate rooms, two separate adjacent rooms.
